Our Mission

The mission of Operation: Snip is to reduce pet overpopulation and the resulting euthanasia of healthy dogs and cats through affordable, high-quality, high-volume spaying and neutering and community education.

We work with you to bring high-quality, low-cost pet care to everyone in Pinellas and surrounding areas. We are trained by the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance. We aim to be a service to our community and to battle the ongoing issue of pet overpopulation.

Affordable Pet Care In Largo, FL

Operation: SNIP, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (C) (3) spay and neuter clinic in Largo, FL. We offer affordable spay, neuter, and wellness services for dogs and cats.

Operation: SNIP’s Wellness Center provides preventative health care and treatment to keep pets healthy! Our advanced wellness services include treatment which may include skin, ear, and joint health issues. While we are unable to treat sick or injured animals, we look forward to working with you to keep you pets happy & healthy

Benefits of Spaying (females):

  • No heat cycles, therefore males will not be attracted
  • Less desire to roam
  • Risk of mammary gland tumors, ovarian and/or uterine cancer is reduced or eliminated, especially if done before the first heat cycle
  • Reduces number of unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies
  • Helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives

Benefits of Neutering (males):

  • Reduces or eliminates risk of spraying and marking
  • Less desire to roam, therefore less likely to be injured in fights or auto accidents
  • Risk of testicular cancer is eliminated, and decreases incidence of prostate disease
  • Reduces number of unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies
  • Decreases aggressive behavior, including dog bites
  • Helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives
